A pioneering project
that unites the practice of sport with road safety

One of our most significant and necessary lines of action is focused on the promotion of sport as a means of integration and social inclusion of groups with different abilities.

Since 2018, Gonvarri has been collaborating with the Real Madrid Foundation to educate people with different abilities about road safety instilling the values of Autonomy and Self-sufficiency.

You may ask yourself, how can sport be linked to road safety? Through sports practice, students have the opportunity to get to know different road signs, to learn how to cross a street properly or to be able to help people in need. A pioneering project with strong acceptance and high levels of satisfaction that will continue to evolve to train groups with different capacities and instill values in them.

The experience is developed in adapted and inclusive basketball schools and aims to introduce complementary concepts to the practice of sports with values, which improve the autonomy and selfsufficiency of its beneficiaries.
