In addition, road safety is part of our business model through the Road Steel division, which had launched the Road Safety First project.

Annually, over 1,300,000 people die for traffic accidents in the world and over 400,000 people die in occupational accidents.
Emotional Driving has been awarded in 2019 with Ponle Freno Award for the Best occupational road safety initiative.
Our road safety program has also been awarded in the category of Internal Communication by the Internal Communication and Corporate Identity Observatory, International Business Awards (Gold), EIKON(Gold), Corporate Engagement Awards 2015 (CEA) and Publifestival.
Furthermore, it has been recognized as best Social Corporate Responsibility and Road Safety initiative by CSR International Excellence Award 2015, Social Enterprise Awards and the Best Practice in Occupation Road Safety distinction by the General Directorate for Traffic (DGT). Lastly, it has been awarded an honorary mention in the Mercury Excellence Awards in the Corporate/Commercial: Corporate Social Responsability Practices category.

“Road Safety is also a child’s business” campaign won two awards in 2017: the silver award in the category of Corporate Communication – PR Campaign in the International Business Awards and the silver iNova in the category of Social Corporate Responsibility Video.
